Achebe Vs Soyinka: Philosophical Schools Of Thoughts And The Nigerian Literary Landscape.part one

A cursory review of the Nigerian literary giants in their philosophical schools of thought reveal the intimate passion of Intellectual bent and scholastic leanings in which they were classified.I did classify wole Soyinka and chinua Achebe in their philosophical leanings into two schools of thought mainly the schools of rationalism and empiricism.
Upon reading the Soyinka's philosophical masterpiece The Credo Of Being And Nothingness in which he semantically treated the rationalistic school of philosophy to which he belongs without knowing I was forced to unearth Soyinka's schools of philosophy as pure rationalism and nothing beyond the psychism of rationalism. He extensively appraised the phraseology of Cartesian Corgito ergo Sum'i think therefore I am' which eventually he multilithed imprintedly into several phrases to drive home the pristine lores of rationalism and optimal value to mordern society.
However one makes a far reaching departure by classifying philosophical leanings of Chinua Achebe  quite differently when you properly explore the latter's work which drew inspiration from Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness as major egalitarian musings.Drawing from this muse he wrote Things fall Apart that became instant hit and brought western publishing company into the country like heineman, long man etc to herald the birth of literary revolution.Achebe belong to the empirical school of philosophy unlike kongi and we cannot but sanction piece of the Credo Of Being And Nothingness as the seaward folly that exhumed kongi's philosophical leanings.
In their various works of arts we shall make allusions to the dual scholarship as the point of departure for the ethical structure of critical analysis. It might be that these two exponents might be critiqued differently as writer's artistic but lymphatic production swings betwixt these dexterous poles of scholarship at a given period but undeniably barely changes the first dispatch of monumental assessment of their philosophical leanings in the lifetime of literary bent and scholastic drift.
