I saw a post on Facebook and quickly loved and the use of idiomatic expressions and fairy tales like embellishments of axiomatic truth in our political arena.I so much love the the author in this context the parable of the three cooks.Is it not strange to be used and the labour of the used taken away to be benefited by the crook who used the crook and that the crook the player who played the crook as used and the fate of the played the used as shown in the failure of his attempt as the frustrated cook or used sound funny on how the user the played the first player as a salesman to build his network influence and deceived the first player suggest the long run strategic thinking of the second player as the real player to fulfill his long term objective of turning the entire political arena or system at his own advantage and others to their perils.Why don't see that they re being used or played or then dumped?

The used is a crook. He thought he is a player, he formed alliance with the user and the played.

The played is a crook. He thought he is a player, he joined forces with the player and got played like Ace up his sleeves.

The player is a crook. He knew he stood no chance against the two in an open field. But he also knew that he could play them like a pack of cards. He used one to crash the other's base.

Who is the player/user?

Goodness!I think just like WOLE SOYINKA once commented when his wishes for anotekun was granted and he called new year gift In the same context ban by federal government of open grazing is quite commendable .

I actually loved this like any rational responses from objective citizenry in the country.Incidentally objective comments on Facebook erupted to my delight like selected options from anonymous sources below:

"Shortage of food in Nigeria happen because herders carry their cow to destroy peoples farm that suppose to feed the nation. Secondly cow business is an individual business not for national interest why should any reasonable person support any business that will destroy other peoples business for their own business to thrive. That is wickedness. Thirdly banning open grazing will lead to lasting peace among herders and farmers. Any person going against banning of open grazing is just been sentimental and not fit to be national representative."

Another says:

"Kindly insist on that and ensure this bill is passed with the same speed at which that of the less needed National Anthem was passed. At this period, the need to ensure sanity is brought into the business of cattle rearing is very important."

I was particularly impressed with this response :

"Absolutely. The Senate President should be commended for his stance. We also hope to see him extend his firm stands on other National issues affecting the welfare of Nigerians.

Indeed, the era of placing cows above humans is gone. Akpabio's disposition is commendable. I was so excited when I saw him shutting down Sen. Aliero, Sen. Goje & a host of other northern senators who were vehemently opposing anti-open grazing. God bless Nigeria 🙏

Let me blow your mind with the media interview with Kelvin Emmanuel an economist who basically provided the poignant perspective to the threat by cabal in the oil and gas especially the midstream sector including refinery and petrochemical.The fertilizer complex in the refinery was constructed on more than 500hectares and the largest investment in Nigeria since independence covers over 2,600 hectares as opposed to 400km worth of Ajaokuta investment.The same cabal that frustrated Ajaokuta were out to frustrate Dangote and I quite agree like ojudu Dangote too was part of the cabal and is like it backfired on him too.The most important thing at this point is for regulatory authorities to bury their differences and let Dangote be and let the poor breathe.

Recently testing was done in the Dangote lab at the refinery was found to be of the best standard in the world.This however debunked the issue of fake or substandard products as well as the monopoly status.Boar Cement is building another 250,000 BPD refinery in the South South and a host of other cottage refineries so that the question of monopoly does not arise.

Psalms 23:3....... he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness... .

Life is full of options and decisions. It's also full of people with strong opinions who'll tell you which way you ought to go. If we could turn back the hands of time, nearly all of us would alter some of our past choices because they've caused us to find ourselves in the path of 'wrongness' rather than 'righteousness'. I personally can relate. 

The question this morning is: Have you been following your appetites and instincts rather than your Shepherd? You say, 'But God has given me a brain to use.".' Sure, and you need to develop it. But it's limited, and it will only take you so far. The Holy Spirit desires to take you beyond those limits. 'As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are sons of God' (Romans 8:14 NKJV). How does God lead us? Objectively through his word, and subjectively through his Spirit. As you read his word, you hear his voice, and as you 'lie down' (Psalm 23:2 NKJV), he impresses upon your heart what he wants you to do.

Here is the clarion call this weekend: If you have gone onto the wrong path, turn to God and he will guide you back onto the right path. 'He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out...he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice' (John 10:3-4 NKJV). 

 *It's actually sweet and interesting when God is the one leading you. Today, let God lead you! May the Lord give us understanding in Jesus name. Amen*
