Build Him A House

2 Chronicles 2:6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?

Yes God wants us to build Him a house, but not the physical one. We are that house. Our bodies, our hearts are to be His thrones.

The above scripture says, the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him. Oh my! Just how big and magnificent is He? And that is the same God who is seeking to dwell in you. How unsearchable is this great God?

The book of 2 Chronicles chapter 4, gives an account of the temple's furnishings. King Solomon stopped at nothing to build a befitting house for God. But a vessel completely sold out for God's use in holiness and a pure heart is worth more than all these precious furnishings in His sight.

 *As you appear in His sanctuary this morning make a beautiful home in your heart for the owner of your soul to dwell. And you will be amazed what He will make out of your life. May the Lord give us willing hearts in Jesus name. Amen*
