Do you sometimes act or do something as if you were charmed or bewitched? And it's only when the deed has been done that you come back to your senses? You then begin to ask yourself 'did I just do that'. That was what happened to King David. He knew quite well that it was a wrong thing to do (even Joab called his attention to it). But the accuser of the brethren was bent on wreaking havoc and he conjured him to go against God's instructions. I experienced it several times but God helped me, and He is still helping me with this simple but powerful prayer: 'Father, if it remains a breath to dip my hands into sin or go into error, please call me to order in Jesus name'.
We should actually live our lives as if the owner will take it the next second, but plan as if we'll still be around in the next hundred years. So if like David you find yourself in such situation,(I pray sin will no longer have dominion over you in Jesus name) the best decision is to fall into the hands of our merciful God. 1 Chronicles 21:... let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man. There are actions we took in the past, and it's affecting our present or will affect our future negatively. May the Lord in His love and mercy go to your past and right every wrong in Jesus name. May you not take His grace for granted in Jesus name. Amen.
I pray for you: May the door of mercy of God be opened onto you in Jesus name. The accuser of the brethren will not have any ground to stand up against you in Jesus name. The Lord God is your shield and buckler, therefore you will never fall into the hand of any man in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
