Cry Unto God

By Adeshola Abraham

Exodus 2:25 So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.

'The Israelites groaned under their burden of slavery. They cried out for help, and their cry rose up to God. God heard them and remembered his covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He looked down on the people of Israel and knew it was time to act' (Exodus 2:23-25 NLT). Just when the Israelites thought life couldn't get worse, Pharaoh withdrew their straw and ordered them to produce the same daily quota of bricks. That's when they reached their breaking point!

Is that where you are today? If so, here are three things you need to know: (1) Sometimes it helps to share your feelings. Especially when you do it at the right time, in the right way, to the right people. It can be therapeutic and healing. But often the help you need cannot be found in people, so (2) There comes a time when you must cry out to God. God saw them struggling to get through another day. But since they talked to everybody but him, nothing changed. Question: have you prayed about it? Prayer must be your first option, not your last resort. David said, 'I called on the Lord in distress; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place' (Psalm 118:5-6 NKJV). David's prayers got him out of a tight spot and into God's spot. (3) God will always keep his promise. 'He remembered his covenant promise...and knew it was time to act' (Exodus 2:24-25 NLT).

God works according to his plan, not ours. He has a set schedule for answering your prayer and delivering you, so keep praying and believing him. And He will come through for you in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and do have a beautiful weekend.

Faith In God

By Adeshola Abraham

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

I'm convinced a phenomenal pattern is about to unfold. But there's hope for tomorrow and there's hope for you and yours. The cascading flow of crises is merging with the outlines of Bible prophecy, like two mighty rivers crashing into each other and coalescing/combining into an unstoppable flood. For the children of God, this isn't a flood that will sweep us away. It will lift us up!
We need this kind of uplifting hope.

Everyone I know seems to have a lot of unexpected stress. We are living in perilous times. The world has always been in a mess but not since the days of Noah has our fragile planet faced such imminent and existential dangers as now.

God knows exactly what's going to happen in the future. He has already painted the picture and the history of the world is moving along a preordained route toward its total fulfillment. He knows everything to come, which we could never foresee by our own intuition.

Brethren, can you also declare this with me: Lord Jesus, thank You that I don't need to be afraid of the future. Your sacrifice and Your grace secure my place in eternity.

Good Morning, Happy Sunday and do have a blessed New Week.

Wise Choices

Proverbs 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Think about the major decisions we make over our lifetime: choosing a mate, where to live, what career to pursue. Have you consistently made the wisest choices? 'We make choices based on what feels best, what's easiest...fastest...makes our kids happy...shuts up the boss...stops our problem for the moment...We buy wants instead of saving for necessities. We marry Mr Right-Now instead of waiting for Mr Right. We get a job instead of an education. We eat a bag of [crisps] instead of a bag of carrots...We don't plan to fail, but unless we plan to win by making wise choices, we can end up getting the short end of the stick...Wise choices aren't usually quick fixes, selfish, or short-term; they involve planning, hard work, sacrifice, and resilience. But the rewards are huge.'

' Growing in wisdom means fearing God, pleasing him, hearing from him, looking to him, choosing his way, staying humble before him, taking his advice, receiving his correction, maintaining a prayer connection with him, and knowing his Son personally (see Psalm 111:10; Ecclesiastes 2:26; Proverbs 2:6; 3:13; 8:10-11; 11:2; 13:10; 29:15; Ephesians 1:16-17; 1 Corinthians 1:30).

James says, 'If any of you lacks wisdom...ask...God...and it will be given' (James 1:5 NKJV). The world spends billions of dollars seeking wisdom, but as God's children we have the wisdom of the Creator of the universe at our disposal. And, when you develop the patience and maturity to make the wise choice instead of the easy one, you can live 'in peace and safety, unafraid' of the outcome.

I pray for you that by the wisdom of God in you: The Lord will make you ten times better and preferred than your contemporaries. You will be a force to reckon with in your field of endeavor in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and do have a wonderful weekend.

Good Conscience

By Adeshola Abraham

Acts 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

It's been said that our conscience was given to us after the fall of mankind in the garden of Eden. In other words, our desire to know the difference between good and evil was granted through the mechanism God placed within us known as a conscience. So we must not ignore its promptings, silence its voice, or allow it to become calloused, because it's a built-in warning system that protects us from danger and harm. That means you shouldn't be troubled when your conscience bothers you; you should be troubled when it doesn't.

Here are ten principles for keeping your conscience clear: (1) Always pay attention to the inner nudging that makes you stop and question your decisions. (2) Think of your conscience as a God-given filter that helps keep your heart pure. (3) Examine your motives in all 'giving' situations. (4) If you think you may have hurt someone's feelings, ask for forgiveness. (5) Invite God to examine your heart and reveal changes that need to be made in your attitudes and actions. (6) To the best of your ability, don't knowingly involve yourself in compromising situations. (7) Consider others first and honour them with your words and actions. (8) Remember that your conscience is your moral compass. (9) Establish ethical guidelines in all your business dealings. (10) When a thought leaves you feeling unsettled, take time to pray and talk about it with someone you trust.

The word for today is - always maintain a clear conscience before God. And as you do, may those who speak evil of you and falsely accuse you because of your good conscience be greatly ashamed in Jesus name.

Good Morning and do have a blessed Midweek.

Faith In God.part 6

By Adeshola Abraham

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Just as the right key opens the door, there are scriptural principles that act as keys to prayer:

Faith is my own number one. God doesn't necessarily respond to your need. Look around and you will see that everyone has unmet needs. So what does God respond to? Your faith! But Satan will try to fill your mind with doubts. And when he does, you need to examine your heart and see what it says. You can believe God's Word in your heart even when your mind questions it. So stand on what's in your heart instead of what's in your head. Sometimes doubt begins with distraction. When you're distracted from God's promises, you start to doubt. And as you focus more and more on your problems, your faith begins to waver. When that happens, you must refocus like a laser on God's promises - and merely glance at your problems. Don't try to deny them, but don't give them undue attention.

The Bible says: 'When you ask for something, you must have faith and not doubt. Anyone who doubts is like an ocean wave tossed around in a storm. If you are that kind of person, you can't make up your mind, and you surely can't be trusted. So don't expect the Lord to give you anything at all' (James 1:6-8 CEV). Stay anchored to God's Word, and don't drift all over the place when your circumstances begin to change.

As you begin to exercise that mustard seed faith of yours, it will move mountains for you. And the One who rewards those who diligently seek him will not pass you by this morning in Jesus name.

Good Morning and happy new week. Do have a wonderful time in God's presence.

Anointed One

By Adeshola Abraham

2 Samuel 5:3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel. 5:4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.

Today we meet the man after God's own heart, king David himself. In 2Sam5, David experienced the fulfillment of God's plan for him to take his right place as king of Israel.
Let's pause and reflect on what a momentous day this was. 15yrs had passed since Samuel anointed David as future king (1Sam16:6-13). David spent many of those years running for his life from king Saul, wondering if he would ever be king.
There's something rather remarkable about David that provides further evidence for why God chose David to be the people's next king. Rather than celebrate Saul's epic failures and horrific death, David mourned (2Sam1:11-12; 17-27).

King David reminds us that God alone provides the security we so desperately long for. He offers it to those who seek refuge in Him: 2Sam22:23-34.

I pray for you today: Every good prophecy that has gone ahead of you shall come to pass in Jesus name. You have a life to live, it doesn't matter how old you are now or what you've been through, you will live that life and still fulfill destiny in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and happy weekend.

The Power of Resurrection

Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Let's take an in-depth look at this verse. (1) 'I want to know Christ.' In Scripture, the word 'know' indicates physical intimacy between two people who love one another. (2) 'And experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead.' What's dead in your life that needs to be raised? There is no problem that Christ's resurrection power can't handle. And how do you access it? When you make intimacy with Christ your top priority, you tap into his power. Some of us would be more comfortable if the verse ended after the words, 'the mighty power that raised him from the dead'. But the truth is, if you want intimacy with Christ, you must be willing to 'suffer with him'.This brings a level of intimacy with Jesus that can't be experienced any other way.

If you have ever suffered deeply with another person, you understand this principle. You will never experience true intimacy with somebody by telling them, 'I only want to share the good times with you.' Often, the strongest relationship bonds come from the suffering we go through together; trials that cause us to know, love and trust one another in a newer, deeper dimension.

May you experience Christ in a new dimension even as he says to you this morning: 'my love will never fail you, my arms will always save you, yes I am close by your side'. And you will not fall off his back in Jesus name.

Good Morning and do have a pleasant Midweek.

Anger free Therapy

Psalms 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

A weapon can either protect or destroy; it all depends on who is using it. Anger works the same way; that's why it's wise to know what triggers or sets you off.

Here are some of the most common triggers: (1) When your rights have been violated. Is it always bad to get mad? No, but as the Bible says, 'Don't get so angry that you sin. Don't go to bed angry and don't give the devil a chance' (Ephesians 4:26-27 CEV). (2) When you're frustrated because things aren't going right for you. (3) When you're under constant stress. Paul writes, 'Be honest in your estimate of yourselves' (Romans 12:3 TLB). By cramming too much activity into too little time, you set yourself up for stress. In life, 'it's always something,' so anticipate challenges and allow time for the unexpected.

Bottom line: 'Do not lose your temper - it only leads to harm.'

As you appear in Zion this morning, look up to the one who says come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and He will give you rest in Jesus name. His thoughts for you are of peace and not evil to give you an expected end. May you march gloriously into that expected end in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning, happy Sunday and a Glorious New Week ahead.

Power of the Tongue

By Adeshola Abraham

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Don't speak without thinking. And don't say things that contradict God's Word. Those aren't easy principles to live by, but they're life-and-death issues. You can bless yourself by what you say. 'He who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth... the former troubles are forgotten"' (Isaiah 65:16 NKJV). Notice two important things in this Scripture:

(1) Your own words have more power to influence you than anyone else's words. It's not what others say that matters, it's what you tell yourself when they're finished talking. Bottom line: you always have the last word!

(2) You will never enter into what God has planned for your future while you're still living in the past. You can't undo your past, so don't relive it over and over in your head. God said, 'Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing' (Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV).

It's time to come into agreement with God and start saying what he says about you. That's no small matter. What you say from the time you get up in the morning until you go to bed at night not only influences your day; it influences the entire outlook and direction of your life. If you have been praying and asking God for specific answers, you can affect the outcome by making sure what you say lines up with what he says. So when you speak, always keep that in mind!

Receive grace to bridle your own tongue at all times in Jesus name. Every negative word spoken ignorantly against yourself is canceled by God's mercy in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and Beautiful Weekend.

Action Takers

By Adeshola Abraham

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

You will be tested. Like Jesus' desert trial, the enemy comes probing at your weak spots. But this trains you. You make no agreement with whatever the temptation or accusation is. You repent quickly the moment you do stumble so you don't get hammered. You pray for strength from the Spirit of God in you. You directly resist the enemy, out loud, as Jesus did in the desert. You quote Scripture against him and command him to flee.

Life will provide a thousand sessions for raising the warrior God calls you to be. Turn your radar on during the day and intentionally don't take the path of least resistance. Take the road less traveled. When an awkward subject comes up, don't run. Move toward it. Ask hard questions. When the phone rings and it's someone you don't want to talk to, pick it up. Engage. That's the key word- engage. Choose to engage and your weary warrior wakes up.
Where in your life do you need to engage right now? In a tough relationship? A moral issue at work? Your children? Your business? Tending to your own soul?

May the warrior in you rise up and engage. Greater works than Jesus did we are to do, and because He passed His tests, you'll pass yours, finish well and finish strong in Jesus name.

Good Morning and happy Midweek.

Problem Management

Hebrews 12:2a Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;

Make Jesus your focal point as you move through every day. Just as a spinning ballerina must keep returning her eyes to a given point to maintain her balance, so you must keep returning your focus on Him.
Circumstances are in flux and the world seems to be whirling around you. The only way to keep your balance is to fix your eyes on the One who never changes. If you gaze too long at your circumstances, you will become dizzy and confused.

By Adeshola Abraham

Welcome problems as perspective-lifters. If you encounter a problem with no immediate solution, your response to that situation will either take you up or down.
You can lash out at the difficulty, resenting it and feeling sorry for yourself. Alternatively, the problem can be a ladder, enabling you to climb up and see your life from God's perspective. Viewed from above, the obstacle that frustrated you is only a light and momentary trouble.
Once your perspective has been heightened, you can look away from the problem altogether.

As you turn toward him completely today, the light of His Presence shall shine upon you in Jesus name. The overwhelming situations around you will not drown you and you're marching forward victoriously in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning, Happy Sunday and a Victorious New Week.

Lord's Will.

By Adeshola Abraham

FORWARD MARCH!!!

Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

The rate of hunger, violence and mode of killings is shocking and indescribable. We need Jesus. He is the only One who can bring peace, hope and restoration to our broken and hurting world.

We're still hoping we'll wake up. We're still hoping we'll open a sleepy eye and think what a horrible dream.

Brethren, the way out as I've come to realize is to pray that God's Kingdom be established in our homes. Let's look at it this way, the American Ambassador to Nigeria has no business with the Nigerian Economy yet he lives on the shore of Nigeria. All his needs are supplied from America. Inflation, subsidy removal and all that Nigerians suffer does not affect him. So also as Kingdom citizens, we're not meant to be affected by the so called hardship because we're to operate under the Kingdom economy. Pray it and see it happening.

In this new month and beyond, whatever causes others to fear is not permitted around you. Sickness, hunger, depression etc that the world suffer is alien to you and yours because you are God's own. May you catch this *RHEMA* in Jesus name.

Good Morning and Happy New Month. Do have a Pleasant Weekend.
*DON'T SHORTCHANGE YOURSELF ANY FURTHER. JUST P. U.S.H!*

Vainglory

By Adeshola Abraham

Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Paul writes, 'Consider others more important than yourselves. Care about them as much as you care about yourselves and think the same way that Christ Jesus thought' (Philippians 2:3-5 CEV). This goes against our natural instincts, but Jesus shows us how. Hanging on the cross, he took time for the condemned criminal hanging next to him (see Luke 23:39-43).

As he was being stoned, Stephen prayed for those killing him, asking God not to lay the sin to their charge (see Acts 7:60). Beaten and wrongly imprisoned, Paul and Silas took time to minister to their jailer. Even after God sent a powerful earthquake that broke their chains and opened their prison doors, they stayed for the sole purpose of ministering to their captor. How tempting it must have been to escape while the opportunity was there. How easy it would have been to look out for themselves and not worry about anybody else. But their act of love moved the jailer to ask how he might be saved and, as a result, he and his entire family were won to Christ (see Acts 16:25-34).

In a world whose philosophy is 'look out for number one', selfishness is an instinct you will need God's help to overcome. And when you do, people will take notice. You will never win others by being just like them, so here is the question you need to answer: how many of your friends and loved ones may come to know Christ if you demonstrate that you genuinely love them instead of ignoring, judging and rejecting them?

I pray the Lord establish you, make you a restorer of hope to the downtrodden and an encourager to everyone around you in Jesus name. Your life will become the Bible that hungry and thirsty souls read in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and do have a pleasant Midweek.

Spiritual Growth

By Adeshola Abraham

Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Since first impressions are important, we're encouraged to 'dress for success'. And that's a good thing. But as a redeemed child of God, your first concern shouldn't be how you look to others, but to God. Just like a mirror reflects your physical appearance so that you can make adjustments, the Bible reveals your spiritual condition and tells you what to do about it.

James writes: 'If you hear the message and don't obey it, you are like people who stare at themselves in a mirror V24 and forget what they look like as soon as they leave. V25 But you must never stop looking at the perfect law that sets you free. God will bless you in everything you do, if you listen and obey, and don't just hear and forget' (James 1:23-25 CEV). You must spend time each day in the Scriptures; otherwise, you will run around spiritually threadbare. Paul writes, 'Clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh' (Romans 13:14 NIV).

Lasting change takes place in first gear, not overdrive. So expect occasional setbacks, and don't let them derail you. When you feel like throwing in the towel, get down on your knees and ask God to help you get back on track. He will do it.

Are there situations around you making you to consider looking back? Receive the grace like David to encourage yourself in the Lord and get going in Jesus name. You will not fail God or fall by the way side in Jesus name.

Good Morning and happy new week. Do have a wonderful time in God's presence.

Good Comfort

By Adeshola Abraham

Luke 8:48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

There are three important lessons for us in the story of the woman with the issue of blood:

(1) Recognise and seize your moment of opportunity. This woman understood that Jesus was visiting her town and might not be back. There are 'God moments' in life when you must rearrange your priorities, overcome your fear and exercise your faith. If you don't, you will miss God's best.

(2) Be willing to try a different approach. Since she couldn't get Christ's attention because of the crowd, this woman touched the hem of his garment and was healed. Many times, faith calls for stepping into the unknown, doing something you have never done before, and discovering God's grace at work in ways you never expected.

(3) Establish a precedent for others to follow. Until this time, no one in Scripture had been healed by touching Jesus' garment, and this woman's faith opened a door for others to follow her example. 'People brought all their sick to him and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed' (Matthew 14:35-36 NIV).

God is looking for people who are willing to break with tradition. He uses them to unlock new dimensions of his power so others are blessed and made whole.

I pray for you this Weekend: Your faith in God will never put you to shame in Jesus name. The miracle of IT CAN ONLY BE GOD will locate you in Jesus name.

Good Morning and do have a wonderful weekend.

Treasure In Earthen Vessels

By Adeshola Abraham

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels,

Think about the last time you were around somebody you didn't particularly enjoy. How did it feel? Not too good? Good or bad, we project onto others the thoughts and feelings we have about ourselves. So if you want people to think well of you, you must have a good opinion of yourself - one based on God's Word. Living in continual self-rejection is an open invitation to Satan, whom the Bible says is like a roaring lion prowling for someone to devour (see 1 Peter 5:8). You say, 'But didn't Paul write, "Nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature"' (Romans 7:18 NLT)? Yes, but that means the good qualities you do possess are evidence that God is at work in your life.

The Bible says, 'We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us' (2 Corinthians 4:7 NKJV). Today, instead of focusing on your flaws and feeling bad, recognise the 'treasure' of God's presence, power and potential that live within you.

This morning, because all the promises of God are yea and amen, I decree into your life all the good things he had said concerning you and your family shall come fulfillment in Jesus name. Every power projecting a bad image of you is rendered useless in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning and do have a blessed Midweek.

A lamp To My Feet

By Adeshola Abraham

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The psalmist highlights two important things Bible reading does for us: (1) It shows us our spiritual condition. In Bible times there were no tarred roads, so when guests entered a house, they paused to wash the sand, dirt and grime from their feet. That's what Bible reading does. David said, 'How can a young man [and an older one] cleanse his way? By taking heed according to your word' (Psalm 119:9 NKJV). (2) It shows us the direction we need to go. Your word is...a light to my path' (Psalm 119:105 NKJV). When you're faced with an important decision and you don't know which way to go, God will guide you through his Word. David, who loved God's Word and meditated on it constantly, prayed, 'Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness' (Psalm 143:10 NKJV).

Many of the mistakes we make could be prevented if we stopped long enough to seek God's guidance. He knows what lies ahead; we don't. So 'commit your way to the Lord, trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass' (Psalm 37:5 NKJV). Just like children need to be taught to cultivate a taste for healthy food instead of junk food, we need to cultivate a taste for God's Word. The psalmist said, 'I will delight myself in your commandments, which I love' (Psalm 119:47 NKJV). 'Your word is very pure; therefore your servant loves it' (Psalm 119:140 NKJV).

Today, I'm asking God to give me a love for his Word. And I also pray the same for you. I tell you, that's a prayer He will answer!

Good Morning and do have a blessed weekend.

Meditation

By Adeshola Abraham

Psalms 119:15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

Another word for meditation is rumination. And it is simply thought digestion.

Meditation isn't putting your mind in neutral and thinking about nothing. On the contrary, it's thinking seriously about what you're reading. For example, you dwell on one verse of Scripture and ask, 'What does this mean for my life?' You talk to yourself and God about it. The Bible says this: 'Keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. Don't ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise...And God, who gives peace, will be with you' (Philippians 4:8-9 CEV). Notice that we are to ponder different categories of things and, by implication, to avoid thinking about the opposite kind of things.

Colossians 3:16 (CEV) says, 'Let the message about Christ completely fill your lives'. You need to spend time every day - a minimum of ten to fifteen minutes where you sit down, read a portion of the Bible, and think deeply about what you have just read. Then talk to the Lord about it in prayer. That's the starting point of spiritual uplifting.

As you throw yourself wholly into meditating and practicing the word of God, may your progress be visible and evident to everyone in Jesus name.

Good Morning and Happy Midweek.

Diligence

By Adeshola Abraham

Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

The Bible clearly teaches that the way we think determines the way we feel, and the way we feel determines the way we act. So if you want to change your actions, you have to return to the source and change the way you think. At times you may act resentful. Why? Because you feel resentful. And do you know why you feel resentful? Because you are thinking resentful thoughts. The same is true of anger, worry, lust and other destructive thought patterns.

Jesus said, 'You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free' (John 8:32 NLT). When you base your life on truth - when you live with the right kind of thoughts, not misconceptions or false beliefs, and you base your life on thinking from God's Word - you will be set free. You will find your old habits, feelings and actions beginning to fall away. When you focus solely on removing bad thoughts, you create a vacuum into which the bad thoughts can return. But when you replace bad thoughts with good ones - scriptural ones - you are empowered by God to live the life of blessing he wants you to enjoy.

I pray for you: All your good thoughts shall be established in Jesus name. The loving counsel of God and His thoughts concerning you shall stand forever in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning, Happy Sunday and a Blessed New Week.

Perfect Peace

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Peace is associated with a river. It is a state of mind, heart, body and soul. It is the freedom to breathe, even in the face of great challenges and chaos. Peace is the river in the desert, not on the other side of it.

By Adeshola Abraham

Today let's seek the river. And not just a river far off somewhere that we must arrive at, but the river that runs wild and free in our inner lives. The river that carves its way through our need for understanding and reminds us to slow down and breathe. They remind us of the bigger things. They remind us that we can be aware of this very moment, no matter our fears of the future and no matter what we're wrestling from in the past.
Above all we are consoled by the Prince of Peace. Who gives us peace not as the world gives, lest our heart be troubled. John14:27

May you experience all round peace as a result of the good tidings that will be pouring in this month and beyond in Jesus name. Everywhere you turn, good news await you, and also good news from you in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and do have a Peaceful Weekend.

All Things

By Adeshola Abraham

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Nothing can come into your life without your heavenly Father's permission; it must be 'Father filtered'. The interesting thing about how God uses circumstances is that their source makes no difference to him. We often bring problems on ourselves. Sometimes they're caused by others. Other times the enemy causes things to happen to us. The source is irrelevant. God said, 'I will make it fit into my plan for your life, to make you like Jesus Christ.' That means there is no circumstance from which we can't learn if we maintain the right attitude.

We change only when our fear of change is surpassed by our pain. If you want to become more like Jesus, think about this: 'Though he was a Son, yet he learned obedience by the things which he suffered' (Hebrews 5:8 NKJV). If God used the challenges, conflicts and circumstances of life to prepare his Son for his destiny, won't he do the same in our lives? Instead of trying to escape your circumstances, learn from them and grow stronger.

This new month as long as you love God and you're called according to his purpose: everything that come your way will work together for your good in Jesus name. It shall be a month of GOOD TIDINGS for you and yours in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning and happy new month.

Deliverance

By Adeshola Abraham

Psalms 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Some fears are perfectly logical. For example, if you're faced with bandits, kidnappers (like the one currently in my community which has made quite a lot of residents to relocate), killer mobs about your faith stand, it makes sense to be afraid. You might wonder how you found yourself being surrounded by them but being afraid of them would be perfectly reasonable.

Other fears aren't so logical. Like fear of caterpillars or spiders. Even though we are bigger than them and can crush them, all we think about is those creepy little legs crawling up our arms. I know this fear is crazy.
Maybe you have a crazy fear too. May be you're afraid of heights or speaking in front of people(I used to have it, but not anymore). Just because your fear seems crazy doesn't mean you aren't afraid. But don't let fear keep you from experiencing everything God has planned for you. Sure there maybe bandits or killer mobs on the road, but don't miss out on the road trip. Don't miss out either- on riding the tallest roller-coaster ride, telling people about Jesus.

Today, I give the rest of my fears- crazy or not- to God. How about you? I assure you that He'll help you be brave. Tell Him: Lord, I don't want my fears- real or crazy- to keep me from all You have planned for me. I will trust You to help me be brave. The Lord will deliver you from all your fears in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and a Pleasant Midweek

Work Our Your Salvation

By Adeshola Abraham

Philippians 2:12
..... work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

The Bible says, 'Work out your own salvation...for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for his good pleasure' (Philippians 2:12-13 NKJV). This Scripture almost sounds like a contradiction, doesn't it? But notice that the Bible doesn't say, 'Work for your salvation.' To work for something means to earn it, deserve it, merit it. And the Bible plainly teaches that salvation isn't something we have to work for or earn. It's a free gift of God's grace (see Ephesians 2:8-9).

When Paul says, 'Work out your salvation,' he is talking about a 'spiritual workout'. What do you do during a physical workout? You develop and tone the muscles God has already provided you. To 'work out' means to grow and make the most of what you have been given. What Paul is saying here is this: develop your spiritual life! God has a part in our spiritual growth, and we, too, have a part. He provides the power, but we must access it, flip the switch, and let it flow through our lives to fulfil his will for us.

Practically speaking, how do we do that? By spending time praying and reading God's Word each day. By sharpening and strengthening one another through fellowship. By exercising the gifts God has given us. The fact is, he has already done his part; now it's up to you to do yours.

This Sunday morning, receive the grace to work out your own salvation and the Lord will hear you, help and preserve you in Jesus name. With joy shall you continually draw water out of the wells of salvation in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning, Happy Sunday and a Blessed New Week ahead.

Be Still

Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Life never goes as planned or imagined. Unexpected storms roll in, waves crash, hopes & dreams smash on the rocks. The question we may find ourselves whispering (or screaming) into the darkness is...
Where are you God? Won't You bring Your peace? Won't you cause the writhing sea to calm?

I don't know about you but when the waves of life are crashing all around me, I need something to hold on to, a compass that points me in a direction to go, a rock-solid anchor to keep me grounded. No matter the storm, we can trust the WayMaker, Christ Himself, to be there every step of the way.
We'll learn to develop a S.A.C.R.E.D daily habit that will reorient our souls to the Lord thru Scripture, prayer and study. A daily habit spelled in just six letters, which is the soul's very real and directing compass to keeping company with God.
S- Stillness to Know God
A- Attentiveness to Hear God
C- Cruciformity to Surrender to God
R- Revelation to See God
E- Examine to Thank God
D- Doxology(expression of praise) to Thank God

Just as God did it for the Israelites at the Red Sea, God can make a way when there seems to be no way.
In the ocean and in life, we can face wave after wave. Surges take us seemingly way off course. Disappointments, losses, bad choices and changes reroute us, and maybe they sideswipe our hope too. We can find ourselves looking back at what we had hoped and prayed for and feel like it's gone for good. Like we've lost our way.

It's not the hard roads that slay us. What actually slay us is the expectation that this road isn't what we hoped it would be.
No matter what happens, Christ, our WayMaker, doesn't get tossed about, gulping water. He doesn't waver and He doesn't sink. Knowing Him and staying anchored to Him leads us to the greatest joy and fulfillment of our hearts desires- more than we could ever imagined.

May the helper of the helpless, the very present help in time of need come through for you at every critical moment in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and do Have a SACRED Weekend.

Tommorow

Exodus 8:10 And he said, Tomorrow.

'Every plague God sent on Egypt mocked one of their gods. For instance, the Egyptians worshipped a goddess with the head of a frog' , so God sent them a lot of frogs. Finally, Pharaoh called for Moses and said, 'All right, I give up.' But when Moses asked him, 'When do you want me to get rid of the frogs?' Pharaoh's response was classic; he said, 'Tomorrow.' He must have been insane! Why would you wait any longer to have the frogs removed? But we do the same, don't we? We procrastinate by putting off the changes we know would be good for us. Maybe we're unconcerned. Maybe we're too lethargic to change. Maybe we're fearful because we don't know what the changes will entail. Maybe we're just too proud and stubborn. Whatever the reason - we procrastinate.

It's one thing to know God can solve your problem and change your life. It's another matter to overcome your inertia and let him begin to do it now! We keep saying, 'One of these days...' The truth is, Jesus Christ has the power to make changes in your life today. He will give you the power to begin and the power to keep going. It's not too late. He can put your life back together again. So, do it today, not tomorrow!

Your time of divine visitation is now and not tomorrow in Jesus name. The Lord will do a new thing in your life. He'll make a way where there was no way in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning and do have a happy Midweek.

All Scripture

By Adeshola Abraham

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,......

On a cold day, have you ever tried breathing on your hands to restore warmth and life? That's like what happens when you meditate on God's Word, because 'all Scripture is God-breathed' (2 Timothy 3:16 NIV). Imagine yourself at a party where people are blowing up balloons and popping them with pins. A scientist could figure out which balloon was yours because your DNA (the genetic configuration that makes you unique) is in your breath. Now apply that principle to reading the Bible, and you will understand how vital it is to your spiritual life. John tells us, 'the Word was God' (John 1:1 NKJV), so anytime you ingest God's Word, you're ingesting his attributes. That's why the enemy will try to keep you so busy that you have no time to read your Bible.

Many of the issues we struggle with in life could be resolved or eliminated altogether if we developed a hunger for God's Word. Job said, 'I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my necessary food' (Job 23:12 NKJV). Jeremiah, who was so dejected that he became known as 'the weeping prophet', said, 'Your words were found, and I ate them, and your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart' (Jeremiah 15:16 NKJV). Jesus experienced every test and trial known to man; he even went toe-to-toe with the tempter. What was the secret of his strength? He said, 'It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God"' (Matthew 4:4 NKJV).

Today, get God's Word into you - it's his DNA. And as you do, it shall do you good in Jesus name. Every issue of life staring you in the face, taking the place of God and hindering you from studying His Word be taken out of your way in Jesus name. You're free from struggles by in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning, Happy Sunday and a Pleasant New Week ahead

Ultimate Prize

By Adeshola Abraham

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Paul writes: 'I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect [mature], be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this' (Philippians 3:14-15 KJV). Paul describes the Christian as a marksman.

If you have ever fired at a target, you know: (1) Your aim must be unbroken by distractions. When you have the bullseye in your sights, something as insignificant as taking a breath at the wrong moment can make you miss the mark. So Paul is simply saying 'Forget what's behind you and around you and stay focused on winning the prize.' He is not referring to your salvation. Jesus already purchased that and gives it to you freely by grace. No, he is talking about fulfilling your God-given destiny and obtaining the reward that waits beyond it. (2) Your bullet needs the right amount of powder. Otherwise, it will start dropping off before it hits the mark. Are you getting the idea? Your powder is your power! And where does your power come from? The Holy Spirit! Jesus said: 'You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem [at home], and in all Judea and Samaria [on the job and in your relationships], and to the end of the earth' (Acts 1:8 NKJV).

I pray as you aim for the mark: You'll not be distracted. All essentials of life that makes one comfortable and focused, the Lord will lavish you with them in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and Blessed Weekend.

Faith In Godu part 5

By Adeshola Abraham

Psalms 32:10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

Is God silent in your life? What prayers has He not answered for you?
At a time of unanswered prayer in my life years ago, one of the hymns that helped me was this and I still quote when I am totally baffled by events that seem to sway off what I have asked:
Trust Him when dark doubts assail thee,
Trust Him when thy strength is small,
Trust Him when to simply trust Him, seems the hardest thing of all.

Is your focus on your immediate need blinding you to a greater purpose that God is working out? Would you choose to be patient and simply trust Him? Sometimes God does not answer our immediate prayer because He has something greater in store for us.
Ask yourself the question "Is Jesus my abiding joy?" When He is the focus of our lives and we rest fully in Him trusting in His supernatural plan even during times when we're waiting with unanswered prayers, joy springs up! And with joy, you draw water from the well of salvation.

Though other people may not really understand what you are going through, but the one who understands perfectly will uphold you with his right hand. Your trust and hope in him will not be dashed. And you will not fall off his back in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and do have a gracious midweek.

Faith In God.part 4

By Adeshola Abraham

Hebrews 11:21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

The Bible says, 'By faith Jacob, when he was dying...worshipped, leaning on the top of his staff' (Hebrews 11:21 NKJV). Picture this: each time Jacob had an experience with God, he took a knife and cut a ring around his staff as a reminder of what happened. The rings started at the bottom and worked their way to the top. One would surely have symbolised the night he wrestled with God and his name was changed to 'Israel...a prince...with God' (Genesis 32:28 KJV). Another would have represented the night God showed him a vision of a ladder extending into Heaven with angels on it. In short, Jacob's staff represented a lifetime of experiences with God. So, it's not surprising that he died worshipping God - and leaning on his staff!

Read the story of the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings 4. Her son suddenly became ill and died, so Elisha sent his servant Gehazi ahead with his staff to let the woman know he was coming. But when Gehazi placed the prophet's staff on the dead boy, nothing happened (v31). Only when Elisha himself came was the child restored (see 2 Kings 4:32-35).

The fact is, you can't lean on anyone's staff but your own! You can't stand on anyone else's experience with God but yours. When it's time to face life's challenges - including death - you can only lean on the faith you have developed during your personal walk with God. That's why it's essential to be faithful and consistent in your spiritual journey. By leaning on his staff when he was dying, Jacob, in essence, declared, 'The God who preserved, protected and prospered me thus far will take me the rest of the way.' What blessed assurance!

And so shall be for you as you lean on your own staff: The Lord who has preserved protected and prospered you thus far will take you the rest of the way in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and a Blessed Week. Do have a wonderful time in His presence.

Rhetorical Question

Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

The 7 rhetorical questions in this proverb prove no man can find out God or wisdom by human effort. The answer to each question is an obvious negative. No man has gone to heaven or come back or conquered the elements to learn the ways of God.

Agur proceeded to teach that every inspired word of God is pure and necessary (Pr30:5). Not a single word was to be deleted or degraded. Putting trust in God and His words was the surest defence against dangers in this world or the next.
Consider 3 very similar questions. "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him and through him, and to him, are all things: to who be glory for ever. Amen" (Rom11:33-36).

I pray for you: Because our God is unsearchable and His ways past finding out, no one will be able to know how He's blessing you. He'll continue to confound them day after day as you swim in glory in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and a Beautiful Weekend

Meditation

1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

'Elisha said: "Pick up the arrows and hit the ground with them." Jehoash grabbed the arrows and hit the ground three times, then stopped. Elisha became angry at the king and exclaimed, "If you had struck it five or six times, you would completely wipe out the Syrians. Now you will defeat them only three times"' (2 Kings 13:18-19 CEV).

Elisha had given Jehoash, the king of Israel, a plan from God for not only defeating his enemy but eliminating him permanently as a future threat. But the plan depended on two important things. First, being fully obedient. Second, being passionate. Jehoash passed the first test but failed the second. He was obedient to what the man of God told him to do, but he didn't go far enough, and he didn't put his heart and soul into it. In short, he settled for less than God had planned for him. Maybe he was tired or distracted...maybe he didn't listen carefully to the prophet's instructions...The Bible doesn't tell us. But this much we do know: he forfeited God's best because he wasn't passionate enough.

As we continue our journey in year 2024 let's not miss the lesson here. It's not enough just to say, 'I've obeyed the Lord.' You must obey him wholeheartedly; otherwise, you can end up compromising your future and failing to experience the fullness of what he has in mind for you. Paul bottom-lines it to Timothy in these words: 'Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them' (1 Timothy 4:15 NKJV). In other words, when God tells you to do something, be passionate (zealous and enthusiastic) about it.

I pray for you: Receive grace to recognize your divine visitation when it comes, and act obediently and passionately in Jesus name. The hidden secret of your greatness be revealed to you in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning, Happy Sunday and a Glorious New Week.

[1/6/2024, 3:33 PM] ibikabram: Most nigerian heroes are not celebrated and I devised it should have been scraped or intergrated as part of ministry of art and culture

[1/6/2024, 3:33 PM] ibikabram: The solution is to adopt my Macroeconomic Reforms WOICO and then banish mass poverty and national unemployment and make Nigeria the prosperity capital of the world from the shameless status of poverty capital of the world.
[1/6/2024, 3:33 PM] ibikabram: The proposed approved revenue and budget is $10tr. and $5tr.per annum excluding the full declaration of the offbalance sheet size of full declaration of new political system "philogarchy".
[1/6/2024, 3:33 PM] ibikabram: About $48tr or almost $50tr.could be generated per annum and $32.5tr.a third of this budget is declared as main federal budget like a third of revenue is also declared.
[1/6/2024, 3:33 PM] ibikabram: The rest goes into Investment government corporation of Nigeria (INGOCON)statutory reserves.
[1/6/2024, 3:33 PM] ibikabram: Government cannot fix Nigeria and we should copy from America how blackrock was used to fix the American economy during the great contraction or meltdown era.
[1/6/2024, 3:33 PM] ibikabram: Through public private participation it is easy and possible otherwise what we could do in three to five years it may an eternity or a thousand years to do it .

The Mind Of Christ

By Adeshola Abraham

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

There is a natural mindset, and there is a spiritual mindset. To live victoriously, you must develop a spiritual mindset. The Bible says: 'The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God...and cannot understand them because they are [spiritually] discerned...But we have the mind of Christ' (1 Corinthians 2:14, 16 NIV).

As you programme your life in accordance with God's Word and consciously submit yourself to do his will every day of year 2024 and beyond, he will plant his thoughts in your mind. What an advantage! For example, someone criticises you and your feelings get hurt. The Lord says to you, 'Yes, your feelings are hurt, but part of it is just wounded vanity and we can deal with that. I love you despite all your baggage. Your standing with me isn't at risk. The person who criticised you may see a flaw. But nobody thinks you're perfect anyway, and it's better not to have to pretend. Here is a chance to grow. Use it!' Even though there are elements of pain in these kinds of thoughts, instead of paralysing you, they energise you.

The scripture says 'You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you' (Isaiah 26:3 NKJV). So, instead of focusing on your critics, focus on God, on your spiritual growth, and on what you can learn from the experience. And the Lord of peace himself will give you peace always by all means in Jesus name. The Lord be with you. Amen

Let Your Words Be Few

By Adeshola Abraham

Ecclesiastes 5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

People often say what they think others want to hear, but that can get them into a lot of trouble. Don't promise something you can't deliver. And don't make excuses. Nothing diminishes your influence like trying to reverse a mistake with a lame excuse. When you make a commitment based on emotion, you will only follow through if you feel a certain way. True commitment doesn't work like that. It's not a feeling; it's a character quality. Human emotions constantly fluctuate, but commitment has to be rock solid.

Real dedication shines through in times of trouble and adversity. It doesn't depend on gifts or abilities, but on integrity. It's a result of choice, not conditions. And it only lasts when it's based on values. Bottom line: 'Don't talk before you think or make promises to God without thinking them through' (Ecclesiastes 5:2 CEV). So look before you leap and think before you commit.

As you go in the new year, don't be impulsive, listen as much as you speak, get as much information as you can, then consult God in prayer before you make a commitment. The Lord guide you continually in Jesus name. Your words will not put you in trouble and cause you to sin in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and a blessed Midweek

Living By The Will Of God

By Adeshola Abraham

Luke 22:42b.... nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

It is economical and safe to go by his will. If it's his will, He will finance it. It may seem slow or too far, but no struggles and you'll always laugh last.

As you align with his will in the new year: Your strength will be renewed. You'll soar as eagles. When you run, you'll not be weary. And when you walk, you'll not faint in Jesus name. Your life will never entertain your enemies in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and Happy New Year

Enlargement

Adeshola Abraham wrote this essay toward the end of 2023

Psalms 4:1b..... thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress;

This verse is one of the greatest testimonies ever written regarding the effectiveness of God's work on our behalf during times of crisis. It is a statement of thanksgiving for having been set free not from suffering but rather through suffering. The psalmist is declaring that the sorrows of life have themselves been the source of life's enlargement.

Haven't each of us experienced this a thousand times, even in the year that is about to end and found it to be true? Someone once said of Joseph that when he was in the dungeon, "iron entered his soul."
And the strength of iron is exactly what he needed. We all need the iron in life to enlarge our character. The iron is the true experience of life.

Joseph's dungeon was the very road to his throne and he would have been unable to lift the iron load of his brothers had he not experienced the iron in his own life.
Your life will be enlarged in proportion to the amount of iron you have endured, for it is in the shadows of your life that you will find the actual fulfillment of your dreams of glory.

So do not complain about the shadows of darkness you experienced this outgoing year - in reality, they are better than your dreams could ever be. For eyes have not seen nor ears heard, neither has it entered into the hearts of men what God has prepared for his own. Those who waited on him and endured sufferings and temptations.

I decree and declare into your life: You are marching gloriously into the year 2024. You'll look back and tell of God's all round faithfulness in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning and happy last Sunday of the year.

Obedience Of Christ

By Adeshola Abraham

2 Corinthians 10:5.... and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

If a thief came to your door, would you invite them in? No, you would call the police and have them arrested. And that's what you need to do when wrong thoughts come to your mind! Take them captive - before they take you captive. And you must do it the moment the first one tries to enter your mind. When you entertain a thought, you empower it, and it will overcome you.

The Bible says, 'Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you' (James 4:7 NIV). On your own you don't have the power to resist Satan, so don't try it! But the moment you call on God and submit your will to him, you're more than a match for Satan. You get to decide who will control your mind: 'The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace' (Romans 8:6 NIV).

When a thought keeps turning over and over in your mind, ask yourself, 'What direction is this thought leading me in? Is it towards spiritual death, or towards "life and peace"'? Think about it: you don't buy insurance after a storm has flattened your house. You do it before the storm comes. So instead of failing and saying, 'I'll never be any different,' look back and ask yourself, 'What was I thinking that led to my failure? Was I in the wrong company, or the wrong place, or the wrong mindset? Have I been reading God's Word and praying regularly? Have I built my life around people who strengthen me?'

So as curtain for 2023 draws to an end, and we march in to 2024: Make a decisive effort to monitor your mind. It pays great dividends. Receive the willpower to do so in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and Wonderful Weekend

Riches In Glory

By Adeshola Abraham

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

How can you tell when you're depending on people rather than God? When you get upset with your boss because you didn't get the raise/bonus you think you deserve at a time like this. When you become angry with a loved one because he or she turned you down for a loan. When you do things like that, you're sitting at the wrong door waiting for your blessing! Yes, it hurts when your efforts aren't acknowledged. But you must understand this: God will use people as instruments to bless you, but he alone must always be the source of all your blessings!

Ponder these Scriptures: 'You may say to yourself, "My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me." But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth' (Deuteronomy 8:17-18 NIV). 'When God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them...this is a gift of God' (Ecclesiastes 5:19 NIV). 'She has not acknowledged that I was the one who gave her...silver and gold' (Hosea 2:8 NIV). What was her problem? She ignored God and forgot that he was her true source.

We generally pursue and nurture relationships that are rewarding - and that's important information. Only when you recognise God as the source of all your blessings will you commit to nurturing your relationship with him. That's why Jesus said, 'Seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well' (Matt 6:33 NIV). When you pursue God, sow generously into his Kingdom win souls, and expect him to meet your needs, your efforts will be blessed.

As you obey God absolutely and depend solely on him for your supplies: May all your needs be met and even with extra in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and gracious midweek.

Compassion

"For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion"
Romans 9:15.

Welcome the Holy Spirit to move upon your life, and then make your own move into the season's best opportunities to bask in the wonder of it all. Reach out to those around: encourage, bless, bake, give, visit, invite, share, and lift hearts wherever you can.

I pray for you and your family this morning, no matter how protracted that issue of concern has been, God Almighty will have mercy on you this Christmas and show you His compassion in Jesus name.

By the mercy of God coming your way, things will turn around for your good in Jesus name. Whatever has been a restraining factor to your wellbeing and progress all this while, by the mercy and compassion of God coming upon you and your family, you are set free today in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Faith In God.part 3

By Adeshola Abraham

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

No matter how busy we are, our children can call us anytime for anything. Do I have a witness? No voices sound sweeter to us than our children's voices. They're an absolute priority.

The same way, nothing sounds sweeter to God than your voice saying, "Hello, Father." There's nothing going on in the cosmos that would keep him from directing his full attention to your conversation or your request.'

That means when God is your Father, you can call home anytime. He is never more than a prayer away! Jesus said: 'Ask, and God will give to you...If your children ask for bread, which of you would give them a stone? Or if your children ask for a fish, would you give them a snake? Even though you are bad, you know how to give good gifts to your children. How much more your heavenly Father will give good things to those who ask him' (Matthew 7:7, 9-11 NCV)! You can talk to God without begging and grovelling, 'confident that he hears...whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And...he will give us what we ask for' (1 John 5:14-15 NLT).

So, whatever is robbing you of your confidence in prayer, deal with it today. Don't continue to shortchange yourself. Concerning those seemingly difficult situations, receive grace to put a call through to your Heavenly Father again. And the answer will come speedily in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning, happy Sunday and blessed new week.

A Forgiving Heart

By Adeshola Abraham

Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Forgiveness doesn't mean that anything that happened to you was okay. Letting go of bitterness doesn't make a situation less unfair. But it means that it's over and not keeping you stuck any longer.
Think of situations in your life that you just can't get over. What is it?
Perhaps you have forgiven but are you still bitter? When this situation comes up, does it give you a sinking feeling in the pit of your belly?

Regardless of how long you've held on to this situation, it's got to go. God has so much more for you if you will just let go of that. You do have a choice. You can move on. The decision is yours. This need for forgiveness also means forgiving yourself. God needs you free to answer His calling for you.

You might have been through some tough stuff and you've allowed it to keep you stuck, but do you know God has always been there with you and He's here with you now. I pray He'll keep showing you all the things and feelings and old wounds that keep you stuck. Receive grace to tackle them and work toward freedom in Jesus name. You can't do it all alone, you need help and that help you'll get now in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning, Blessed Sunday and Wonderful New Week.

The Intergrity of the Righteous

By Adeshola Abraham

Proverbs 11:3a The integrity of the upright shall guide them...

Jesus said, 'Love your neighbour as yourself' (Matthew 19:19 NIV). But in order to love yourself, you must first be able to respect yourself. And self-respect is based on personal integrity. You've got to do what's honest and right and what the rules say.

Every honest or dishonest word and action either adds to or takes away from our character. That's what the Bible means when it says, 'The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity' (Proverbs 11:3 NIV). So today, let's strive for integrity in all our dealings.

I pray as you walk in integrity: The Lord guide you continually, establish you in your God ordained place. He will hear your prayers and supplication in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning and a wonderful weekend

A Servant To Serve

By Adeshola Abraham

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

When it comes to sin, the Bible draws a line in the sand and tells us not to cross it. Why? Because when you cross it once, it's easier to cross it again. Whether your 'drug of choice' is alcohol, illegal or over-the-counter drugs, pornography, gambling or overeating, you start out believing you're the master and end up realising you're the slave. One of the biggest lies we tell ourselves is, 'I can stop whenever I want to.'

Spiritually, you can lose your confidence before God. Personally, you can lose your sense of self-worth. Publicly, you can lose respect and influence with others. And if you're not careful, even 'good' things can hurt you. A strong work ethic can lead to neglecting your family and losing your marriage. Vegging out in front of the TV can stunt your spiritual growth. Even too much caution and thoughtfulness - good qualities - can prevent you from stepping out in faith and fulfilling your God-given potential.

When God says no, he is not being a killjoy and trying to make your life difficult; he is protecting you! If something has the potential to enslave you, don't do it. And if you're already hooked, turn to God and he will set you free.

Living above sin is a special grace: Receive it now in Jesus name. You're free from the bondage of sin in whatever form in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning and happy Midweek.

Rejoice In the Lord

By Adeshola Abraham

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Joy is the fuel we run on, and unless we maintain it, we can run out. That means regularly checking your fuel gauge to make sure you're not being sucked into negativity and doubt. In the Bible, wine represents joy. In fact, Christ's first miracle was turning water into wine - the best they had ever tasted. Jesus is a joy giver, and when you stay connected to him, you experience his joy regardless of your circumstances. In John 15:11, he said, 'These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full' (KJV).

Think about this for a moment: how can you walk around saying your sins are forgiven, God guides and protects you, and you're going to Heaven - but look like you have been baptised in pickle juice? In prison, Paul had so much joy that his jailers were won to Christ and a church sprang up in the 'household of Caesar' (Philippians 4:22). People are always more influenced by your attitude than your theology. Always! When they see you rejoicing in hard times, they're apt to wonder what your secret is and to think, 'Whatever that person has, I need it'; they become more open and receptive to the truth. The happiness this world offers is only a reaction to circumstances, whereas the joy that comes from living for Jesus lifts you above the circumstances.

So, this week and for the rest of our lives we're enjoined to focus on his joy, draw on his joy, and demonstrate his joy. And as you do, nothing will be able to rob you of your joy in Jesus name.

Good Morning, happy Sunday and blessed new week.

Faith In God.part 2

By Adeshola Abraham

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

What a powerful command: But what if fear is an overreaction to something we've imagined, more of an irrational response based on what-ifs running through our mind? Or what if the fear is triggered by the memory of something that happened in the past or might happen in the future, not something that threatens us in the present? And what if those feelings of fear make us stop and keep us from moving forward?

Fear of change, fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of what others might think, fear of what you might think-any of these can sabotage our well-laid plans for resetting our lives. This type of fear can be called imagined fear. The fear itself is real- you feel it and respond to it.
The "imagined" part has to do with the threat that inspires the fear. We may conjure unnecessary visions of danger when none are present. Or we may imagine that a real threat is bigger or more dangerous than it really is and assume it can't be overcome. But we all have the perfect weapon available to us to fight our Imagined fears. That weapon is faith. Faith in ourselves and especially faith in our heavenly Father..

Faith is the answer to so many, if not all, of life's questions and challenges, and I can tell from experience that it is the greatest weapon ever formed against fear. Whether we are consciously aware of it or not, fear dictates many of the decisions we make.

This weekend and beyond: Receive the power to conquer your fears, as you come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning and beautiful weekend.

The Righteous Shall Rise Again

By Adeshola Abraham

Proverbs 24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Falling down is an important part of the process for a child learning to walk. And getting back up again is crucial to developing the child's balance and muscle development. Likewise, a boxer isn't disqualified because he gets knocked down; he's disqualified because he doesn't get back up. So, for both children and boxers, it's all about getting up again.

The Bible tells us that falling is common to both the righteous and unrighteous (those who know God and those who don't). It's getting up again that sets them apart: In Scripture, some of God's greatest servants fell into personal failure. Abram lied to Pharaoh about his wife, Sarai (Genesis 12:11-17). Jacob deceived his father and stole his brother's birth-right (Genesis 27:17-29). In anger, Moses disobeyed God by striking the rock (Numbers 20:7-12). Yet instead of being disqualified, they 'were all commended for their faith' (Hebrews 11:39 NIV). How come? Because they acknowledged their sin and received God's forgiveness. In other words, they fell, but they got up again.

And when you fall, you can get up again too. That's the 'faith' part of your journey. Staying down is failure accepted - getting back up is faith activated!

I pray in remaining days of year 2023 and beyond: You will not fall by the way side or draw back onto perdition in Jesus name.

Good Morning and happy Midweek

The Commandments

In the book of Lk18:18-22,
is the rich ruler who approached Jesus with a question. Jesus, already knowing his checklist-mindset, begins naming several of the 10 commandments. A list the ruler felt he kept well.
It would be so easy to gloss over this moment and think Jesus is simply talking about money. But the words in this conversation are for every single one of us. 'Cos the core issue Jesus is getting at is this:
What holds the key to your heart?
Oh, how I want my answer to be "Jesus." I want Him most. To live completely captured by His love. Enthralled with His teachings. Living proof of His truth.
Imperfect heroes of faith we read about in the Bible who, despite their shortcomings, pleased God.

Our reliance in God should be like a little girl leaping from the edge of the bed, completely confident her daddy will catch her. It's the same thing that fueled David's courageous run toward Goliath with nothing but a sling & five smooth stones. It's what fueled Joshua, Moses, Noah & Paul.
And it's one thing Jesus is asking the rich ruler. Not for a life perfectly lived but a heart of surrender. Sadly, it's also one thing this man felt he could not offer.

Brethren, let's not allow this to be the tragedy of our lives. Let's be found captured by Jesus' love, enthralled with His teachings and living proof of His truth.

So, as 2025 draws to a close and even beyond, my prayer will be and I believe yours will also be:
Everything I have. Everything I own. Everything I hope for. Everything I fear. Everything I love. Everything I dream. It's all Yours, Jesus. I trust You in complete utter abandon. Amen.

Good Morning and a blessed new week. Do have a refreshing time in God's presence.

Note :She wrote this essays luke many posted in 2023 still evergreen.

Season Of Divine Completeness

WELCOME TO YOUR SEASON OF DIVINE COMPLETENESS 2023!

Matthew 27:29a And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head,

Jesus wore a crown of thorns so you could wear a crown of glory. Thorns in Scripture represent sin. In Eden when Adam and Eve disobeyed, God said, 'The ground will be under a curse...[...it] will produce thorns' (Genesis 3:17-18 CEV).

'The crown of thorns Jesus wore represented all our sins. As we were caught in the brambles of envy, anger, shame, discouragement, guilt, bitterness, and unforgiveness, so Jesus, who knew no sin, became "an atoning sacrifice for our sins" (1 John 4:10 NIV). Not once did Christ use his supernatural powers for personal comfort. With just a word he could have transformed the hard earth into a soft bed...hurled the spit of his accusers back into their faces...and paralysed the hand of the soldier who braided the thorns. But he didn't. Instead, "He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross"' (Colossians 2:14 NLT).

And he did it with you in mind. Amazing!

In this month of Christmas, and as we draw towards the end of the year: May our actions or inactions not nail Jesus to the cross again. May we live our lives to make heaven happy in Jesus name. And in return, every hanging benefit of ours in the year will locate us, and ultimately reigning with him in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning, happy weekend and a blessed month of December.

Divine Sufficiency

By Adeshola Abraham

2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

David was 'on a roll'. He kept winning battles. He had the Midas touch; everything he touched turned to gold! But success can go to one's head, and David wasn't exempt. He started wondering, 'Just how strong are we?' At that point, he conducted a census and discovered he had 'one million one hundred thousand [fighting] men' (1 Chronicles 21:5 NIV). His actions killed seventy thousand Israelites needlessly.

Our mistakes have the potential to hurt others. We're not just accountable to those who are over us; we're responsible for those under us. After all, if our good decisions have the ability to bless and guide people, our bad decisions have the potential to harm them. 'David said to God, "Was it not I who ordered the fighting men to be counted? I, the shepherd, have sinned and done wrong...let your hand fall on me and my family, but do not let this plague remain on your people"' (1 Chronicles 21:17 NIV). God graciously answered David's prayer, and judgment was lifted from Israel.

We need God's guidance for our own sake, the sake of the people around us, and to give us the grace to accept responsibility when we fail.

I enjoin you not to hide your failures, blame others, or run from God. Acknowledge them, grow through them, and become wiser. The Lord will give us understanding in Jesus name. You will not fail/disappoint God in Jesus name. Heaven at last!

Good Morning and happy Midweek.

Divine Inspiration.

By Adeshola Abraham

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

After dealing with the same issue for such a long time and you may have reached a point where you are about to give in, thinking things probably would never get better. Don't give up, commit your heart to trusting God. What the situation demands is God's wisdom, humbly ask the Lord to give wisdom on what to do, steps to take. God knows exactly what you need to do to receive your victory.

Remember God uses the really simple things to confound the wise. God wants you to come to a deeper level of love and trust in Him, which would produce awesome power and breakthrough in your life. As you wait and seek God's wisdom He will reward you greatly, He knows exactly what you need to do. Ask God to take over all your plans and lead you into victory.

Remind yourself of the situations in the past that God brought you through, hang around people that will keep encouraging you. Fill your heart with hope. Stir up the love and faith of God in your heart. God has promised victory and joy to those who hold on to His promises in faith.

I pray for you again: Receive the grace not to give up, and put your trust absolutely in God. Every challenge stirring you in the face will turn to testimonies in Jesus name. Amen.

Good Morning, do have a refreshing Sunday and gracious new week.

The Abundance Of the Heart

By Adeshola Abraham

Matthew 12:34........ for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

The problem isn't the tongue itself; it's more serious. The problem lies in our hearts, our attitude, outlook, and our temperament. 'The tongue is a spiritual thermometer that reflects the condition of the heart...Words are power tools that can build...encourage...destroy and cause confusion.

We have all been hurt and even defeated by words spoken in anger or words rising out of a wounded heart...If my words are boastful, my heart is insecure. If my words are filthy, my heart is impure and if my words are critical, my heart is filled with pride and anger...Solomon said, "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver" (Proverbs 25:11 KJV)...The right word, spoken at the right time and in the right way can bring order in the midst of confusion and light on a very dark path. "Good people know the right thing to say" (Proverbs 10:32 NCV). God gives us spiritual "radar" so we can assess a situation and speak the right word for that circumstance. We just need to check the "radar screen" before we speak.'

I pray: Every contrary word ignorantly declared by you against your own life/children is hereby canceled by the blood of Jesus. Every evil word spoken against you/yours as a result of your actions or inactions and is affecting your destinies is nullified in Jesus name. Receive grace to bridle your tongue in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning and happy Midweek.

A New Heart.

By Adeshola Abraham

Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Paul warns us [about]...allowing our hearts to harden. "They are darkened in their understanding...separated from the life of God...due to...hardening of their hearts" (Ephesians 4:18 NIV). A soft heart is not weak or naive. To the contrary, wisdom, experience, and faith make for a strong heart, weathered by compassion and seasoned with mercy.

A hardened heart is not protected, it's merely encased in injury, and it is painfully obvious to everyone but you...God wants your heart to be soft and open. In response to heartbreak, betrayal, or shame, it is... easy to develop a heart of stone. We think this will protect us from...more pain. The problem with stone is...it feels nothing - no pain, but no love. It is a trap that feels like self-preservation, but it is actually self-destruction.

God wants to give you a heart of flesh. With his love you can emerge from a painful season of loss with a heart that is yielding, porous, and ready to receive the gifts he has...for you.

I pray for you: That painful test you went through will bring about a mind blowing testimony in Jesus name. Those wonderful Christmas gifts that God has packaged will not elude you in Jesus name. Amen

Good Morning, happy Sunday and blessed new week.
