Luke 5:34 And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? Luke 5:35 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

The scripture above was the answer Jesus gave to the Scribes and Pharisees who asked him why his disciples didn't fast. Many of us are currently enjoying this same privilege they had, because we have spiritual backbone/watchman, in the midst of faithful and trustworthy brethren, Pastor, parents or relatives. But a time is coming when you'll be apart from one another. 

My elder brother once called me and said: he realized when our mom was around, things were easy for him. He slept like a baby. Offers were looking for him all over the place. But shortly after she passed on, attacks were coming, things were increasingly difficult to achieve. He then knew that Mummy did a great job praying and fasting on behalf of her children. And I know many of us can also relate. Good for my brother, because he's wiser. He without wasting time took the bull by the horn and he's now achieving a lot with prayer and fasting.

We're already in the sixth month of the year. Some challenges do not give way without persistent prayer and fasting. And if you ask someone to do it for you, you will be doing yourself a great disservice. No one can actually pray for you like you.They can only join you. Hebrews 5:14 says solid food is for the mature. We need to train ourselves to stand on our own to prevail in spiritual matters. 

 *Child of God, this is the time to give yourself wholly to prayer and fasting both in season and out of season to secure your future. The seeds of prayers you're sowing now or will sow is going to be instrumental in your all round rest later. May the rest of your days be glorious in Jesus name. Amen*

Foreword To My Upcoming book.

FOREWORD

The book entitled "NEOMARXISM: HOW TO CONQUER WORLD POVERTY" written by IBIKUNLE LANIYAN, who doubles as the Founder and principal Consultant at MICROFINANCEAFRICA, is a welcome addition to the literature of works that will be geared towards liberating man from poverty (both physical and mental).

Interesting topics like: THE mandates of Central Banks, which is to provide an enabling climate for the economy to grow among others, the pursuit and adoption of price stability, the importance of women and Global Economy, the origin and tradition of microcredit, micro health and Grassroot Medicare Industry, Micro finance Development and Empowerment Management etc makes the book a "must read". Although the book targets every individual, society who desires a way out of poverty, but literary people would enjoy it more because of some of the vocabularies.

If we actually tackle poverty, then our communities and the world at large will be safer to dwell in. According to the Author, "the Great Armageddon catches up on humanity who fails to consider the less privileged in their societies." It is worthy of note that vices in display in our world today are mostly attributed to poverty.

I strongly recommend this book to all and sundry who want more out of life and are determined to try something new.

The limitation of identity clash over the moral influence of status can be intriguing and is boldly ingrained in the societal fabric.This is boldly written and shown in the unending clash between them and insomuch that the proliferation of crisis and wars in human society is never detachable from the confine of this clash.

We require status nevertheless to acquire identity giving the fact it produces requisite knowledge to produce good identity.

Imagine!Just one unit schedule !So how many years left to cover the rest when someone is at his old age 70 to 80years .The use of these schedules is so much terrifying and we hardly know it a d before you know it time is gone .Yet some folks with naivety covers them all in a lifetime ten times or fifty times over and even more.I can't believe this myth and is it really a myth if I may ask?Of course not it is really for goodness sake and infact get so much money than the next one million generation yet to come after them who perhaps might still be hearing their names posthumously.I think the key to the secret is the quality of time investment and the effective administration of the schedules and cultural appropriation.

Psalms 88:9 Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.

Any Christian who feels he has prayed enough hasn't prayed at all. Don't look at the affliction, just pray without fail until your joy is full. The biblical solution to affliction is prayer. Yes! There's need to stretch out hands unto the One who says you should call Him in time of need. But unfortunately, one of the most difficult tasks for children of God going through affliction is the same prayer. If you don't succeed in the school of the spirit, you can't succeed in the physical.

It doesn't matter how long the situation has lingered, there is light at the end of the tunnel, if you don't chicken out. One thing you should know is that time is not relevant to the personality that is in charge of your case. So there's nothing like 'time is going', when is God going to do my own? 'Age is not on my side' etc.

I pray this morning, just as you cannot tell when that affliction began in your life, it will go the same way. And it shall die a natural death in Jesus name.

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;

In moments of unavoidable affliction, children of God should fix their gaze on the one who says 'come onto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest ': JESUS! His word is settled in heaven forever, He is yeah and amen, and He lives forever more.

You need not to fret about how He's going to do it. Yours is to lay it at His feet, and leave it there. I've learnt from experience that whatever is committed to God's hands is as good as settled. We're the ones not fixing our gaze on the one who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), because we're thinking and considering other options. A double minded person is unstable and can't receive anything from God. 

 *What are those challenges? What door/doors have you been knocking? What answers are you waiting for? Fix your eyes on Jesus concerning them, don't faint and you'll receive answer of peace. He makes all things beautiful in His time. He created time, so He's never late. And that's what makes following Him the one and only 'who know Road' sweet.* 

I pray for you that's fixing your eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2 NIV): That what eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, neither has it entered into the heart of men, what God has prepared for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9) shall be your reward in Jesus name. Amen.

Ezra 9:14 Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?

Children of God!!! We're in this world, but not of this world. We've been bought with a precious price.

I see and hear of pastors/pastor's wives, bishop, evangelist etc who are doing the abominable, nailing Jesus to the cross for the second time. And I wonder who they gave their lives to. How long are we going to continue to 'join affinity with the people of these abominations' when the Bible tells us to come out from their midst? (2 Corinthians 6:17).

God is extending his loving hand of mercy to as many who are willing today(Ezra 9:9). Situations and happenings around cause children of God to put hands in whatnot. God is saying, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness (Isaiah 41:10). I will not allow my holy one to see corruption(Psalms 16:10).

May the Lord arise and have mercy upon you, for the the time to favour you has come in Jesus name. Amen
