Joy does not simply happen to us. We have to choose joy and keep choosing it everyday. It is a choice based on the knowledge that we belong to God and have found in God our refuge and our safety and that nothing, not even death, can take God away from us.
Trusting in the Lord during trials is holy work but the Holy Spirit will come alongside us and help. In that we rejoice and be glad."This is the day the Lord has made" (Ps118:24).
As christians problems don't go away, sometimes it even increases, but God gives us wisdom, courage and power to deal with them. He will surround us with brethren to help carry our burdens and He will even provide us with insight and practical assistance. In the midst of life's problems, God supplies everything we need to see us through. Phil4:13.
This week and the remaining days of this year: The joy of the Lord is your strength. Go in that strength, and the adversaries/devil will not be able to steal your joy. Your joy shall last forever in Jesus name. Amen
