The blogger was recently engaged in a discussion on intimidating profile o Bard of Kongi and prove how the nobel laureate is arguably the greatest professional in the whole world. This was in reply to post from Straight Naija.com reposted in his Facebook page by Nikola akerele.

It says:
"Nobel Laureate prize winner Professor Wole Soyinka is indeed a renowned and versatile writer, known for his ability to write beyond the literal level and take his work to the figurative level.

His unique style and depth of analysis set him apart from other writers, including Chinua Achebe. Soyinka's poetry explores a wide range of themes, including:

●Postcolonialism, Identity, and the Role of Religion: Soyinka uses religious metaphors and explores the crisis of faith in his poetry.
●Isolation and Loneliness: Soyinka presents isolation as a major theme, drawing parallels between his life and the stories of Odysseus and Leopold Bloom.
●Racial Discrimination, Man's Inhumanity to Man, Political Corruption, Social Justice, and Death: Soyinka employs various linguistic and rhetorical devices to give voice to these diverse themes.
●Justice, Defense of the Helpless, and Condemnation of Social and Political Vices: His poetry collection "Mandela's Earth and Other Poems" explores these themes.
●Myth, Ritual, and Postcolonialism: Soyinka creates a liminal world in his plays where characters navigate cultural complexities and societal expectations.

Soyinka's poetry is characterized by its eclectic themes, elaborate imagery, satire, antithesis, dramatic dialogue, and biblical allusions.

He uses his lyricism to enlighten, entertain, and celebrate several topical issues that passionately affect his sensibility and audience.

Could Yu believe if I tell the concept of
world greatest? Some that produce Fela indirectly though tony Payne Fela's drummer created afrobeats with Fela and Fela said it himself but soyinka said in an aljazeera interview d very first time ever that his cousin Fela would perform on stage he said did by following him to perform on stage BCos fela accompanied soyinka on stage playing saxophone and during Poetry reading.

I mean soyinka produced Fela and Chinua Achebe directly and it was later they advanced themselves and they became soyinka's greatest disciples and anything they achieved the glory or honour go to soyinka.if Achebe like it in his grave let me cry and his obidients it was Soyinka that mentored him

The most recorded band in the whole world is Egypt 80 band according to seun Kuti not even Michael Jackson etcetera.Fela's influence Soyinka's indirect influence.infact in the afrobeat the philosophy of tonal language that said in an interview must have been borrowed from soyinka by Fela BCos soyinka said our Yoruba expression both in lyrics and sound different from European expression and am quite sure given that they stayed together in London schooled together partying together their girl friends brought food and also were paying rent together every thing and in d course of such communication saying sold the tonal philosophy to Fela.It was Soyinka that radicalized fela.though he took to radicalism in late 70s in America when d final inspiration came from a black militant woman.

In terms of nigritudinism, manthia diawara says it was Soyinka that really grounded nigritudinism in the real African or afrocentric tradition not as it were Harlem writers of the 1920s and first generation nigritudinists like Leopold sendor Senghor David Diop, aime Cesare etcetera.he was even more original than 2nd generation nigritudinists like him such as Edward kleisand and Frantz Fanon.Mathia in the third generation nigritudinism say so.He says does it make sense for Africans to see themselves in the eyes of New York or western tradition rather than to be seen in the afrocentric tradition?Almost all the nigrititudists make that error and soyinka really grounded nigritudinism which means the being of blackness in the real African tradition. He wrote in Ogun and philosophizes in IFA oracle .
