Am writing anthology of poetry for wole Soyinka at 90 The Kongi Bard of Ake..I wrote that Soyinka is the greatest man that black Africa ever had and the most influential politician in Africa.The most powerful editor,most influential journalist,most influential playwright,most influential musician,foremost critique and human right activist,the only cultural deity in Africa,the father of African literature greater than other four men that makes up the top five biggest intellectual products Nigeria ever produced.The only man that had the opportunities to win Nigeria presidency twice and outrightly rejected it.Wiser than obafemi awolowo,Prof.teslim Elias,ajayi Crowther and Herbert Macaulay.Could u believe dis bitter truth? Soyinka brought Fela his cousin to perform for the first time on stage playing saxophone to accompany his poetry reading and earn for himself the honour of directing Fela the father of afrobeats in the right direction.See what Fela did for burna boy, Davido,wizzy etc making names overseas bcos of afrobeats.

I can defend it so easily.the truth is:the only non Caucasian Rabindranath Tagore In d 70s or so won a Nobel laureate prior to soyinka emergence in 1986.If I tell u u won't believe me.See,as at dat time no Chinese had won it and the entire asian countries excluding India and it means that awolowo ideas and influence directly influenced African continent just over a billion people as the father of media and mass media,with the coming of media speeded up independence of African countries in d 60s,skyrocketed schools enrollment on d continent influenced film industry, cinema culture, telecommunication revolution etc indeed awolowo became the greatest African leader ever in terms of influence but soyinka set the pace for over four billion people worldwide contributed to freeing Mandela, liberation of Africa from some sit tight leaders and pls Obasanjo regime and a couple of foundations in Amerika and some musicians did not contribute to its reform but much more by the bard and Soyinka s voice was much heard.Read d poem Mandela earth.Awolowo touched over a billion people though soyinka was influenced too by awolowo legacy acting in films and writing radio plays which popularized him but considering the Egba clan and Ransome Kuti connection most influential family in Nigeria would still have travelled overseas achieved his dream.But by using television revolution and theatre art revolution he founded he ended up using this legacy and become greater.Then one more thing while awolowo was desperate to become nigerian president Soyinka rejected it.Tunde awosanmi a close confidante and theatre directors.said why did soyinka turned down d presidency bid offered him on a platter of gold to him by Abdulsalami Abubakar?in d documentary,he said he didn't want to be regimented aversed to living a regimental life.Then Afrịka was doomed if the only deity in benin wasejected d presidency bid.go and watch his documentary u will shed tears  for Nigeria and what he said about evil leadership that he said since independence all they were just interested in was to talk talk talk with no action and that was why he became involved.

Do u know how much Nigeria would have made from soyinka institutionalised film industry with over four billion viewers?We lost trillions of dollars in fifty years not turning soyinka into the nation's cash cow since his play Kongi harvest became the first featured film in Nigeria in 1970.Together with Fela they could have generated $200b.per annum for Nigeria in d last fifty years a staggering $10tr.during d period excluding compound rate return of diversified investment Jesus ?it means this two ppl could have generated $50trillion I badly needed in my Global project WOICO to make Nigeria have the most beautiful cities of the world in five years or 60months.Jesus!Very unfortunate man to be born in Africa and we wasted Dem.Little wonder Soyinka said as renaissance generation they were wasted generation but lamented the current generation was lost.uhhmmmm.........

Before china could produce one Nobel laureate despite all their brains they still couldn't produced it over thirty years later.i wanted to break dis achievement.What a gargantuan task of unprecedented historical monuments
