the top 5 motivation theories in the study of psychology.Abraham
Maslow's hierarchy of needs tops the chart and he identifies first in
his postulation,physiological needs.The average individual is
motivated when all of his needs are met though may later cease to be
motivator as he climb economic ladder and craves higher needs.People
work and contribute through their expertise.He created a pyramid in
the demonstrative chart and shows how people are motivated and cannot
rise to the next level unless lower level needs are satisfied.In the
hierarchy he identify physiological needs which includes basic needs
such as air,sleep,food,water,clothing,land,shelter and sex.Then safety
needs including protection from threats,deprivation and other dangers
such as health,secure employment and property.Social need deals with
sense of belonging and love.The need for
