In densely populated urban areas, the relationship between drivers and pedestrians is a delicate balance. Drivers must be exceptionally vigilant, especially near schools, parks, and busy shopping districts where foot traffic is high. Slowing down and yielding at crosswalks are essential behaviors that protect the most vulnerable road users. Conversely, pedestrians must also follow rules, using designated crossings and staying alert to moving traffic. By showing mutual respect and following safety protocols, we can create city streets that are safe for everyone, whether they are traveling on four wheels or on foot.
