Road Safety

Road Safety as a Foundation of Early Education
Safety education should not begin at the DMV; it should start in the primary school classroom. For children, the road is a high-risk environment because they often lack the cognitive ability to judge vehicle speed or the peripheral vision to spot distant hazards. By integrating traffic rules—such as the "stop, look, and listen" mantra—into early curricula, we cultivate a generation of responsible pedestrians who eventually become disciplined drivers. This foundational knowledge ensures that by the time a young person takes the wheel, safety is not a new concept to be memorized, but an ingrained habit that values human life above all else.
