The negentropic dream is effervesced,
A fluorescence in the carbon-choke;
While Boltzmann’s ghost, in shivering unrest,
Dissolves the axiomatic heart of oak.
The sun-disk bleeds a photovoltaic rust,
As Kelvin’s shadow strangles every star;
All monuments are pulverized to dust,
Within the cold-void’s non-linear bar.
No teleology can stem the tide,
Of disordered atoms in a final dance;
The Sovereign and the Serf alike subside,
Into the stasis of a frozen trance.
The universe, a flickering machine,
Grinds down the Void to keep the silence clean.
