A freewheeler dancing to the pantomime
Of the freewheeling.
Yet he is not free and shackled by penury,
Freetown denies him of freewill
And lo freethinking, free range and free soil too denied him
Behold he stays in slavetown the home of the slaves,
A slave wheeler dancing to the pantomime of slave wheeling
Yet he is freed and freckled by prosperity
Slavetown denies him of slave will,
And lo slavethinking in slave range and slavesoil too deny him misery
A tale of two cities slavished by a tale of two contrasts
Wonder shall never end.
