As human population grows,human needsustainable or not sustainable also balloons exponentially,alongside the technical knowlege or technology badlyneeded to tame the environment and cultivate the farmfields.This cummulatively also grows environmental destruction and ecological horror.So i beg to disagree with learned author,that the solethreats of global warming,ozone depletion,loss of living species,deforestation,all have common cause,which he termed the new relationship between human civilisationand earth's natural balance.I would have loved that it be termed directly,the population factor.Malthus certainly saw ahead of his time and none of researchers and demographers and philosophers inthe field of populationstudy,had anything original to say.A true researcher in thiscomplicated field ofclimate change ought to havetalked about the direct impact of crisisfactor on global warming and human survival. Nosolutionexist in population control measures,applied in the past from restrictive,to expansive practices.
