Going through the chapter 7,the learned author himself lamented about the limitation of technology that Malthus had long forseen,yet he and his ilks had criticised the undisputed father of mordern populationabout his shortsightedness of human capabiility to make improvement throughtechnological application. Hence,mankind yet to exit malthusian trap,the final armagedon of mankind.So,Malthus was absolutely correct that in the absence of effective preventive checks,mankind with random technology boom and shortlived expectations and exception would continue to suffer positive checks,precipitating high death rate.It could even beworse in the years ahead,having seen the escalating nature of technological limitation,painted in this book.Malthus is much more responsible in bringing population study to preeminence.
