Upon the edge of land where waters meet,I stand and watch the ocean's rolling tide,The salty breezes touch my face so sweet,With mysteries that in the deep reside.The sea is vast and stretches without bound,A canvas painted in a brilliant blue,I listen to the crashing, heavy sound,And find the world is beautiful and new.Yet storms will gather on the far away,And clouds will hide the sun's warm, glowing face,But I am anchored to the coming day,Which time and tide will never quite erase.The tempest howls across the foaming crest,Until the weary water sinks to rest.
