An old man sat on a park bench with a net made of thin silver wire. He wasn't catching butterflies; he was catching sighs. Whenever a passerby exhaled heavily, he would scoop the air with his net. Inside the mesh, a tiny, glowing spark would form. He placed each spark into a glass vial. When he went home, he uncorked the bottles, and his living room would fill with the comforting, quiet memories of simple afternoons spent by people he had never met.
